The Three Key Elements

Main Contributions of the CEED Program

As we indicated on the More About the CEED Program page, putting together one new company is a daunting task. Developing a system to proactively create thousands of new companies in a short period of time dwarfs the problems associate with starting just one.

No one had taken on that challenge before. But we believed that the times do not allow the luxury of the status quo.

We began by asking basic questions. How many startup businesses fail?  Why do they fail? What are the characteristics of successful startups? In the process, we isolated the three problems that are the most universal and most critical to any startup entrepreneur: know-how, capital and credit.

In a very high percentage of cases, these problems represent such challenges that they consume more than 50% of the entrepreneur's time. Based on our own experiences as entrepreneurs, we can attest that if these problems are addressed, entrepreneurs can focus their time, attention and creativity on building their companies instead of keeping them afloat while solving these three challenges.

We concluded that whatever system we devised, it had to tackle these problems head on and effectively eliminate them as a distraction from and deterrent to actually building a company.
