Business expertise and product/service-specific knowledge are critical for entrepreneurs.

The CEED Program provides hand-holding on how to set up and run a business (see Business Expertise) as well as technical guidance on how to run a particular type of green company (see Technical Expertise).

Our program incorporates the two most successful business models for launching and running new small businesses — franchising and business incubation: We borrow from the franchising model to establish a nationwide network of community organizations that in turn set up local green incubation systems to launch and nurture the new local green companies.
